ELECTORAL DISTRICTS
An electoral district, also known as a voting district, is a defined geographical area that is represented by one or more seats in a legislative assembly. During elections, only voters registered within a specific voting district can cast ballots for candidates running for office in that particular district. In a single-member voting district, voters can elect just one representative to the legislative body.
