PITCH  IN  & GET  INVOLVED!

There are many ways to get involved with Aiken2025’s non-partisan, grassroots endeavor; The strength and legitimacy of this initiative flow from the many citizens who contribute to its undertaking.

PRACTICAL WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE

  • Consider running for Council! Visit the Run For Council page for steps to register. Aiken2025 is happy to help walk you through this process.

  • Assist with placing signs in key, visible locations. The objectives of Aiken 2025 will only be accomplished if we “move the needle” by raising the level of citizen participation in the election. Keep in mind that the last mayoral election was won by 14 votes! Turnout matters.

  • Tell your friends and neighbors! Word of mouth can be very powerful. Work your email and phone lists and let people know that fresh winds of energy and strategic thinking are starting to blow in Aiken.

  • Post to social media; this can be an effective way to inform the community about our group.

​

  • Help us reach opinion leaders:  Do you have a relationship with key leaders in churches or other local civic organizations?  If so, let us know. Aiken2025 will help pull together a helpful information packet to explain our objectives.
